Above is my full PC spec, I have tried everything I can think of, but I'm still getting screen lag every 8 to seconds (especially when mining) and the lag lasts about 0.5 of a second, all my Elite Dangerous Horizzons settings have been reduced to High rather than Ultra and still it happens. All of my other games (Assassins Creed Origins, DCS, Shadow of the Tomb Raider etc) work perfectly with no screen lag at all, has anyone having the same problems found a solution please?

Fly Safe Commanders.

Uninstalling Geforce Experience worked a treat, everything now on Ultra and no lag or glitches, Thankyou, Thankyou and Thankyou. I've been tearing my hair out for 3 weeks trying to fix this, who would have thought that something so simple would solve the problem?

In GE FORCE Experience settings, there are options to turn OFF “Automatically Optimise My Games”, Screen Overlay, etc. It is not necessary to uninstall it. Receiving a notification when a display driver update is available is handy.
On YouTube you will find videos explaining how to best optimise your NVIDIA Control Panel settings for Gaming.

well if it cant optimize fa poo(it really cant) I would rather not have bloatware on my system in the first place especially if it cant recognise it is causing a problem with a way a game is displayed case in point the above
the only good thing about it is the free shadowplay recording software if you do use that sort of thing imo.
