Need orientation on Empire griding

Greetings felow cmdrs😎 i am planning on take some Empire grind this weekend so can you spare some tips about location , best system states, gov, etc. ( I have a combat FDL), and prefer combat missions.

If you kill empire aligned ships, even if an aligned faction paid you to, it will hinder your progress.
The best bet for combat might be to bounty hunt HazRES and pay for donation missions.

That said, passenger missions and donations are the easiest way imo.
You can do a higher rank in a few hours easily.
I held off on a lot of combat until I had the ranks I wanted because of the complications I mentioned above.

Another option would be to use powerplay to increase your bounty payouts.
Then you can afford more donations.
just make sure they are to aligned minor factions!

This is correct. Don't do combat missions against other empire factions or you get nowhere fast. Took me a while to figure that out.

I have heard if you hand in combat bonds one kill at a time it helps increase faction influence faster than handing in a bunch at a time. Wonder it that same method works for rank? hmmm.

+1 for passenger missions. Stacking Passenger/Cargo/Data missions is probably the most efficient way, because you have high turnover.

Take every donation mission. If you are doing passenger missions, you will be rolling in cash. Trade that cash for rank advancement. You should be able to max out donation missions.

As for best place...find a cluster of populated Empire systems. They should have passenger/data/cargo missions to each other, so you can just do a circuit. Avoid "adventure" missions...they seem to pay great, but they take longer to complete and there is a higher chance of failure because of demanding passengers. Take transport missions to destination, and take new passenger missions (from your destination) on the way back.

May want to check out near HIP 8758 and surrounding. If you are flush with cash, lots to donate there. Also some milk run courier missions. Not combat, but plenty to stack.

I did my empire rank at Aditi with donation missions (data missions are gone now). Only took a day and 550mil.
