Hey guys ...i'm currently new ..and have managed to get into a cobra ...my aim is to be in a python asap ..should i focus on combat mission or trading ? my real question are ..what ship progression should i be looking at from the cobra i have now ..? upgrade the cobra out before jumping into lakon 6 ? or go for ASP skipping the L6 ? and from Asp or L6..what i should i aim next ? L9 1st before The Python ?

Depends on what you want to do.
If you want to do pure trading for a while it would be the Type-6/Type-7 to your Python.
On teh cobmat side, i would still fly a viper/cobra for combating. Simple reason the cost for screwing up in a ASP are expotential higher then in a viper. But the gain is the same.
In the end if you want to make money the trading is the more "boring" solution. I fly now a clipper, still trading. Could do some combat works rather "well" but anacondas have gone to be a pain or any other ship in my tonnage. Screwups costs me a million credits, repairs costs me hundred of thousand credits.
Still iam happy with my ship and i think thats the important thing.
