Need some ship advice - post PowerPlay

Right now I have a cobra I am planning on outfitting for mining, may change my mind and use the ASP depending on if the diamondback takes the Asp's place as explorer. I use a Vulture for PvP and I am happy with it so I highly doubt I will be moving to a clipper/Python/conda anytime soon. I have a T-6 that I use for trading at 100t per trip. Here is my question.

Should I sell my T-6 and move up to a T-7? I understand I will lose the ability to dock on Outposts and the reduced range but will my trading credits increase dramatically? I made good coin in my T-6 for the CG at Diso but I am wondering how much more I could have made. BTW I mostly play open but I am far off the beaten path

T7 is a vast improvement over the T6. In fact Asp setup for trading is an improvement over the T6. Then Python!

Sell the type 6 and get a type 7
you will more than double your profits. Outposts can give you slightly better profits but not at the level that much more cargo capacity can.
yes the asp is better than the type 6 for the same reason, more cargo space. But if you have the money for a type 7 why bother.
i doubt the diamondback will be better priced than the asp I imagine it to be in the 20 mill ballpark.
if mining gets a huge boost like I hope it will then an asp won't be so bad but I would still suggest working up to a python if it really gets the attention it deserves.
tldr
as far as trading goes, in any capacity at the moment the more you can haul the better. Mining will be a multi role's game with guns and cargo space being preferred. The only way I see this changing is if smuggling gets a rework and the smaller traders see a resurgence due to stealth.

I don't like the T7. It's a death trap and I saw very little reason to use it over the Clipper.

Sell the Type 6 and Vulture, and get a Python while it's on sale.

It has more guns than the Vulture, and carries more cargo than the Type 7 (292t max from memory, or there abouts) and is a medium platform ship compared to the large for the Type 7, so you can land at mining outposts.

Also Python especially if you're in Open.

Yeah.. If the OP has the rank the Clipper is a nicer option than the T7 because it doesnt handle like a stone slab. Can fit it out nicely for trading, only prob being docking at outposts.
