Need someone to collect bounty on me, please help

Apparently NPCs won't scan me, and getting killed by security doesn't remove the bounty. The only thing I can think of is having a player physically turn in the bounty. I'm near the Wu Guinagi system. Is anyone nearby who can fly in and shoot me down? Thanks!

Incidentally, this bounty really appears to be bugged. Please don't offer suggestions about how to do it without a player's help -- just assume I have tried them.

You never get npc bounty hunters after you?
They even come after me for a bounty of a mere few thousand credits.

I can't get the bounty to be other than dormant outside the system, no NPC seems to be using a kill warrant scanner out there (this is weird), and inside the system, I have been killed by bounty hunters by lurking at the nav point, but the bounty didn't disappear. As I said, I think there's something bugged in this situation. So the answer to the question is that no, npc bounty hunters AREN'T coming after me.
