Ships Need to pack more punch

So lately I've noticed that Dropships and Clippers have been showing up rather regularly and feel that my Medium Multi-cannons aren't up to the task.

Can anyone help me equip myself for these larger targets?

Your weapons setup is pretty much ideal. I do notice that your power config could be improved. By modifying your priorities slightly you can fit "A" class shield boosters instead of "C" and still have some power left over for whatever other minor improvements you desire:

You can also try plasma accelerators and railguns. Both will do more damage if you can deal with power requirements and lack of autoaim.

I looked at those and most of the time I'm not directly aiming at my target due to range and turning radii so I don't think those will do me much good.

Perhaps bump up your maneuverability and add a shield cell and kill warrant scanner for bounties...
