Need updated on what ship to buy

Hello, it's been a few months since I've played. I left having a Type 6, and about another 40 million. I was wanting the Fer De Lance, but got burnt out and sidetracked with other things. I was thinking of winding up the rusty engine, and wanted to know what ship should I get?

Kinda depends on what you want to do. Seeing as you said you wanted an FDL I assume you prefer combat. In that case I , along with 99.999% of everyone else, will recommend the Vulture. Great offense (2 class 3s which do amazing work), great shields, and the second most agile ship after the Eagle. 5 mil to buy, around 20 mil to outfit max

I had some time away as well but was parked at Sag A in an ASP. I got back to the bubble and had the same thoughts. Overall I still think the Cobra is the best bet, It still seems to be the best for smuggling and running away as you can land on any station and when dicted can outrun anything until your drive cools down.

Like all others said before, Vulture is what you're looking for in that price range if you're going for combat. That will leave you with some extra cash to maybe get a second ship for trading to switch when you get bored of blasting up ships. It's very maneuverable and fun to fly, you'll probably like it.
What I'll add is, look at the two new ships, Courier and Scout. They are a bit cheaper and also great fun to fly. Altho not as much firepower as Vulture, but pretty decent combat ships. Also Scout can jump some decent distances (unlike Vulture) because of it's big fuel tank, which makes it great if you're looking for a good system to play in.

Oh that's right. I had a Type 7. I'm trying to log in, but I have to update, and it keeps timing out and not completing. I think my internet is glitching?
