Admittedly I wasn't keen on a fps shooter for ED, but I got it anyway. It looks really nice, like most of the UI improvements, except for the on foot ones. That wheel thing is horrible.
I know there's a learning curve to all these games, but man I can't even do a retrieve mission. I get hailed by someone who want to scan me, so I stop turn around and then they go hostile and shoot me. No, I don't have a bounty, not wanted. This has happened twice now with two different missions. what. Are these supposed to be stealth missions? I don't get it. The last mission even granted me the clearance and code necessary to retrieve the goods. I don't understand why the base goes hostile.
I tried playing with a friend last night and we did OK shooting up a settlement, but he had missions there and I didn't. How do you share missions with your team? What's the point of teaming up if you can't do the same mission?
