Neighbours

do you have any neighbours / commanders you regularly bump into?

there's another commander who has his home system same as mine, although we play different time zones so have only seen each other a couple times. always a bit of friendly chat about nearby decent trades etc. neither of us are in a huge ship and it seems we trade different commodities / routes anyways, so there's no negatiev effects (in fact, because i spend most my time doing missions - it keeps the system in economic boom which works out well for both of us)

i like that there's a little bit of life in my corner of the galaxy, though i think i'd be a bit disappointed if it got busy....

Since I left LHS 3447, I haven't seen a y-bird.

^ same here. Traffic Report in neighbouring systems has some few players but in the place I call home, I'm all alone.

I tried to find a system with metallic pristine belts and lots of nearby systems offering many different trade commodities. Found the perfect system to call home, tried everything the game currently has to offer in said system (for last 4 weeks) and didn't see a single player whilst online or via traffic report until last week. Bumped into him/her in space but he wouldn't talk or respond to me at all, I got more conversation out of npc's

I even interdicted him/her, followed him/her around and maybe even slightly annoyed them (all in the interest of honing my skills of course!) whilst they went about their business. I eventually got bored and had enough to pimp my ship so I went out exploring and cant even remember the system name now!

Strange, I've reciently moved out looking for a remote scarely occupied system, found one with an Orbis station but only 3 ships in the system in the last 24 hours, feeling quite smug.
