Neits robbed me

Ok, so having a bit of a laugh, but I handed in over 2 million in combat bonds last night and the menu still declares that I have contributed zero!

Sort it out before I terrorise a moon with some talcum powder!

It took me long enough to even get docking permission. :)

I had similar problems. There are 2 different cg 'Mission' one for each side: imp or fed. And each mission is picked up from a different station in neits. Watson settlement is for handing in fed combat bonds and still hangar is for imp bonds. Hope that helps

That does help and that is absolutely annoying as all hell!

It clearly says on the highlighted headline "Earn rewards by handing in combat bonds at Watson Settlement in the Neits system"

FD you owe me some contributions for this terrible atrocity! Haha.

It's a disgrace. The information headlines to hand in contributions to Watson and yet describes both the FEDS and the IMPERIALS in the brief.

Nowhere does it state there are 2 separate missions, 2 stations to hand into.

Wasted ages last night dealing with troublesome players, heavily armoured dropships that take some time to "drop" and then handing in what is petty sums considering the money that could be made trading slaves.

FD sort out the mission arrangement and description and make them CLEAR to people.

Or am I just daft?

It doesn't really, unless you check the name of the actual mission, the rest underneath is generic to both the imperials and the federation.

The mission is called Federal battle of neits, but only now does that stand out a little more specifically, where before I thought it was just the name of the CG!

It should say in the highlight "earn rewards for handing in FEDERAL bounties" etc.

Are you the type of person who builds his Ikea furniture without looking at the pictures?? :p

Without being insulting are you genuinely defending this?

The description should clearly state that there are 2 stations and 2 missions to be signed up for as appropriate.

That's all I'm going to say.

Oddly I had no issues figuring this out. But I did read the community goals thread. Maybe that helped me? Anyway I did a few combat bonds for both sides, lol.

Well I'm not defending it, and I wasn't trying to annoy you.... But I figured it out okay?

Even the news feed specifically mentions only Watson Settlement in the back story of the event.

A mission called Federal battle for neits doesn't clue in anybody and there are 2 other stations here.

My appeal is that these CG's should be properly described in the descriptions panel and the highlighted criteria should denote what alignment the bonds be tied to for the reward.

No excuse that people are losing a lot of work to this oversight. The oversight should not be our fault.

To me, it was pretty clear. You turn the bonds into whichever station you signed up with. Same as any other community goal.

However, if you've not done CG's before (your post doesn't state whether this is the case or not), then I could see how you made this error.

It's also worth pointing out that sometimes it takes a while for the game to update your contribution to the CG.

This is the case for the Federal side of the CG. The Xbox news feed DOES state to go to whichever other station it is for the Imperial side.

Galnet news does not say which station so please enlighten me.

And, yes, I have done CG's before plenty but this one is clearly causing people some problems with its LACK of clarity on the setup.

I'm genuinely all ears to the source of this information because I can't see one reference in the stuff I've read in the game with regards to the imperials having a different station to deliver to UNLESS you happen to land at that station and discover the seperate CG on the bulletin.

Had I not been told here about this station having the Imperial side of this mission then I'd not have discovered it. I certainly couldn't see any indication that of the 3 outposts here that I had to land there. Watson was the only station I even read by name based on the background CG story and naturally that seems to be the place we all went to - those who ran into this same problem.

Ah. Well the game should convey the information clearly.

Trust me, if I ran into this honest mistake and it could've been avoided then a lot more people who're relatively new to the game and it's setup might never notice that their contributions are not being credited.

It appears other people have responded here likewise and sadly lost out on a lot of work, which shouldn't happen if the game would just be a little clearer on the CG criteria.
