Anyone familiar with some FPS games know that if you get killed by the same player more than a few times, they get tagged as a "nemesis", so you can easily find them (as often just get killed by them again! Lol).
Now, getting killed by the same player twice in ED is actually quite rare.
However, my suggestion is more for squadrons!
If a player kills enough of your squadron members (say 3) in a short time (24hrs), they eventually get tagged on your galaxy map, so you know where they are.
Initially it lasts just 1 day from when the tag becomes active.
But additional kills stack up, exponentially, doubling the time the tag stays active up to 2 weeks maximum.
Then CMDRs know where to seek revenge, or , most likely, where to avoid. Lol
