Yes, the shields and jump range definitely need nerfing. My suggestion would be that it has no shields or FSD when you start out in Baker's Prospect and have to grind credits first. Would make for challenging game play just getting out of the system.

Start them in a Viper and they probably can't jump even with a class E FSD.
