Nerfs vs Bug fixes

It is painfully obvious that frontier devs seem to want to fix nerf scenarios than actually fixing bugs.

3 days ago a post on youtube that was confirmed by many players to be a nice earner was working, now in only 3 days Boom Nerfed:

Bugs reports don't seem to get the same treatment sadly why is that? I have seem and been party to some very annoying and silly bugs that basically kill both immersion and gameplay to a point of can no longer progress in game therefore pointless to play until fixed, thence severe bug related, but there it remained for 3 months.

Is this something frontier plan and continue to do: Why are they so worried about sorting a nerf more than fixing the game??? this to me is very poor management and development of a game.

It seems that if you find a gold rush and money making scheme "keep it to yourself" keep it yourself, I can only see the devs searching endlessly the internet for us players posting about gold rushes, rather than actually fixing bugs. what a way to carry on, Poor show Frontier.

The reason why some things get nerfed is simple.

Those videos on youtube are considered exploits and seriously, a newbie flying an Anaconda after only a few hours of gameplay is kind of stupid...

They nerf it for the reason of forcing the player to spend more time flying their ships or finding other things to earn money, like combat, bounty hunting or other various things. As far as I know, combat and bounty hunting has not been nerfed yet and is pretty much the most engaging way to earn money while learning to maneuver your ship.

Take it as a push into the direction of actually learning to fly a ship instead of learning how to earn a crapload of money...

because that's what the game is about. it's about flying a space ship in a futuristic setting, not a "get rich" simulator...

Combat and Bounty Hunting don't pay enough to ever warrant a nerf, it shouldn't take me 4-5 hours of bounty hunting to earn enough credits for 'one' rebuy of my ship, that's absolute crap for what is arguably the riskiest legal profession.

If it was intentionally 'nerfed', then it was a bug that never should have been.

If you're getting shot down enough for rebuys to outpace your earnings, combat probably isn't the profession for you.

I rarely ever lose my ship, looking at my stats I've only got 18 claims for a total of just over 32 million and I've been playing since beta. The point is any time you go into a CZ or Res site you are putting your ship on the line, if it's going to take 4-5 hours to offset that risk then I'm sorry but the reward is clearly too low.

EDIT: Also if something is 'intentionally nerfed' it's not a bug, you fix bugs you don't nerf them.

Point being Frontier are quick to jump on nerfing rather than fixing bugs... I other point being I have reported particular bugs that were game progressing stopping for me personally but it took months to fix??? that's poor development. along with rehashing ships which is lazy development.

I'm not a developer, but I am fairly sure it's a lot easier to tweak a number on their servers than it is to patch a bug, test it to see if it breaks anything, then release an update for the players to download.

When they nerf stuff it does not motivate most folks to find new things to so.

They say "I did not buy this game thinking they remove every bit of decent game play and leave the crap and trash.

I am bored with the crap that is left broken, they removed what I like, screw them, period.

They drive folks away in droves.

No one is going to dictate my play in a game I bought.

I try to hit the ducks and windows in Tiger Woods gold rather than just hit the ball in a boring hole, if they nerf that I'll quit that game.
