Net usage

I'm interested how you folks dealing with your net usage? You always online, or when it's not necessary you pull off the machine?

For my part when i don't need it when it comes to my mind i disconnect my machine. After all, why i must online, when i only looking a move, or playing a single player game, and not using my net at all?

When you use wifi in a ferro concrete structure house let's just say the connection is crappy at the best, since is acts as a faraday cage. And if you use cable, with the modem next to you? Than why you keep your security programs, torrent client browser, ects, running and taking away processing resources and memory if you don't need them especially in an older machine? It's just slows it down.

NSA? :D If you really making yourself in their got to watch list, for example, with the suspicion of terrorism? Than you cannot do anything illegal, because they will keep an eye in your online and other activity for 24 out of 24 hour. Yeah.. You can still doing it, since its a secret service action! But everything is written down and reported, so if you give any reason to the authorities to act? They will going to have an awfully long list about your misdeeds. Not so funny as its sounds huh?

Don't make it any worst as it is...
