Hi everyone,

It has been a while since I've been online here. Mostly cause I took an internship and had no time on my hands anymore. But now I've got some more time and did spend it on Planet Coaster.

Long time ago I started a Netflix Studios park (because I'm convinced that one day this will really exist), and I just finished the Main Street.
It's meant to be some kind copycat from Universal Studios, and Universal is also a great inspiration

Hopefully you will enjoy the screens:

(Might change the characters on the billboards in the future, since there are many more originals by now)

Birdseye-view, since the entrance area is really compact. Here you can get your tickets and a locker.

My personal goals:
- Using a lot of height differences (stairs)
- Realism
- Usable backstage areas
- Universal as inspiration, but Netflix as brand
- Use Planco language in-game

Instead of basing movies from other Companies like Disney and Universal. You should do movies based on Netflix Originals has made or companies that have made for just Netflix. Example (Troll Hunters, Trolls, Home: Adventures of Tip and Oh, The new Magic School Bus series, A Series of Unfortunate Events, and etc.)

Hey all!

I'm back with a small coaster update. I would like to show you the inside of the Subway/Studio 6.
I must say, I started creating this coaster when MIB was still on Netflix. Nowadays it isn't anymore. Unless anyone knows a kind of similar movie-scene from an original, I'll pretend it's licensed

My Idea for your park is A Stranger Things miniland in a fitting space
The miniland would include
2 Attractions:
The Hawkins Lab Horror Heights attraction
The Launched Mirkwood Roller Coaster (To be converted into a motocoaster once the time comes)
Businesses:
Palace Arcade
Melvald's General Store
Benny's Burgers

It could work.

Hey all!
It's a week later, and I've been building an entree to a small Western area (since that's quite easy with the in-game theme).

With creating a new area I had several 'problems'. One is the big studio where the roller coaster is inside, which means the attention must be drawn to somewhere else. Second problem was separating the central area and the new area in style.

Hiding a big studio is quite intensive and even hard for Copperfield. So, I created a big The Ridiculous 6-sign with a stunt show behind it. This is still in progress, so I can't really show it yet.

Separating the area's is done with a restaurant (ready for next update to place boxes). The restaurant is split, one side is Western, the other side is generic.

The Chill Also with Ice Cream parlor on the outside. Restaurants are connected and should be seen as one.

Western side. As you can see through the tree; it is connected but a completely other feeling.
This idea is inspired from Disney restaurant where one part is main street and other part (I believe) Enchanted Tiki Room (?).

Notes:
The Western area is not meant to be painted red. This park is a lot of concrete and 'made by human', so there are stones place for the feeling. But in fact those are sculptures/fake.
The fake third floor in the yellow middle part was necessary to hide the Western building tops.

Hey all!
It's been a while since I updated this topic and thought a share of the moment would be nice. First of all to let you know this park ain't dead, second to get some feedback while I'm in the building process

The Western Area is almost finished by now. The only thing I need to complete here is the stunt show. There is added a flat ride and a small food corner. Not much but enough for now, keeping in mind this park should be a fresh park with possibilities for expansion.

Also I made a start on the new zone, Stranger Things, which will contain a restaurant and a logflume ride. This is very WIP, but I would love to share the progress.

Third thing I'm working on is the Village. A new hotel is added: Grand Casino Hotel.

So since I'm working on different areas at once this update will be kind of messy and showing a bit of everything. That's because I had to make a choice: Be silent for weeks until it's ready to show off all at once, or show what's finished so far in smaller bits

Area I've been working on for most part last two weeks.
It's following up the Western Area which is shown before.

New ride: Bank Heist. I wanted to add a little show to it with water and explosions. Even created a soundtrack for it with sound effects. But the flat ride is so loud, you couldn't hear the music very well (even in-game music isn't loud enough; the mechanic noises are just way too loud). So decided to let that idea go. Maybe a little watershow in the future, but not the big idea I had in mind...

The queue shows of the plan. The park guests can "get their armor and prepare to rob the bank". The robbery is represented by the flat ride itself.

No specific movie is named though for this ride. But lot's of Western have bank robbery's. Just like Ridiculous 6.

Ridiculous 6 will get their stunt show, but as you can see I'm working on it.
Decided to go with a "cheap" tribune. Those are blocks of concrete with wood on the sitting spots. So there are no chairs, but lot's of space to sit.

Behind the Western Area is the Stranger Things Area. The name of the logflume is Upside Down (with a neat effect in the dark).

Idea is:
First the pumpkin field with the rotten pumpkins
With a portal visiting the upside down, looking for Will.
The lift hill till the drop; the portal will be closed after leaving the upside down.
Big splash and happy ending (giggity).

On the other side of the attraction is a restaurant. Only the interior is finished, still need to create a facade. The ordering part is the woods of Stranger Things, very studio-ish on purpose.

Dining part is close to the portal to the upside down world.

The fake depth in the portal is created with spiderwebs.

On the outside of the park a quick look at the Village, where the new hotel has been placed.
Idea is to create one more cheaper hotel/souvenir shop next to it (between theater and GCH).
On the other side of the hotel is a little open space, might want to put in there spare time activities such as mini golf.

Notes:
First I wanted to create a Big Mouth area instead of Stranger Things. Where the Shame Wizard took you on a journey. I did let the idea go since it didn't work out to get the billboard "transformed" in art shapes.

Very cool - love the portal idea to Upside Down. I would think with the falling snow effect, you can get a great scene made that the flume goes through that looks like Upside Down.

Today I would like to show off a little more of the work in progress. The Stranger Things log flume is consuming a lot of time. Finally the queue is done, so I started working on the inside of the ride. Also the restaurant across the log flume has a facade now.

After that you'll end up on the inner side to enter the ride.

Oh my god! Is that even real? I have seen Disneyland but this is so amazing. I will share this post with my kids for sure. They will like it if such a place exists. They are already big fans of the Andy Yeatman shows available on Netflix. I am sure they will look for those characters only.

Today I would like to show just a few pics of the start of the kids area.
Started with the first attraction which is an aeronauts in the style of Baby Boss.

The kids theme should've different brands from Originals, but aren't specifically connected.

Also, the main street and entrance do have some temporarily holiday decorations ��

On the other side a little picnic area in some neature with a view on the ride.

This can't be good... Well, at least there is some crowd control.
