Neutron Jump Advice

OK, I need some guidance. I'm using the neutron superhighway for the first time and I've had few successful jumps then I arrived in DRYAU AUSMS PS-U E2-407 and it scared the everloving crap out of me. I've watched some videos before doing tying neutron jumping out and I've never seen one spin that fast.
My question for those who are more versed in the game than I am.
I really don't want to blow up and lose all my exploration data and spawn back at Explorers anchorage.
Do I dare try charing in that jet cone?
See the video below.

Yeah don't let the high speed jets scare you. The speed they're moving has no bearing on how it affects your ship, you'll get thrown around just as much with that one as you will with any others you've already jumped through. Neutrons really just look more scary than they really are.

Just stay the hell away from white dwarfs! Those things will kill you real quick.

I had exactly same thought when I first came across one of this. I was so afraid I think I skipped first few of this till I decided to just go for it as per few Cmdr's suggestion. Turned out as @Hawk of Battle already mentioned, they are no different from non-scary Neutrons.
Go for it.

This is the method I use, and I have never had trouble with it. It works for white dwarfs as well, just be more careful about facing away from the star and avoiding its exclusion zone. You can skim multiple times at a higher speed if you're worried about a particular star.

Great advice here.

For those ones that are really short........ don't be afraid to just give up.

I lost millions of exploration data including ELWs trying to scoop one of the really short ones.

It was not a skill thing. The problem is that at some point It is not worth the risk. Just abort and do a manual shorter jump.

If in doubt, go for the tip. I've done so many neutron jumps now that it feels like a walk in the park. White dwarfs however, then you have to be more careful. Usually I just use jumponium instead.

But if we are to talk danger in space, then it's high g planets that should be the biggest fear.
