Well I seem to have hit a large mass of them and they have never been visited by anyone, infact apart from a few systems directly around Sag A* I've not seen any previously visited systems as I closed to within 15k of Sag A*, wonder how many of these I should scan before turning for home....
Conda is on 97% hull, 97% powerplant (100% all other modules), I've only used 1 heatsink out of 4 banks, and have 5000+ ammunition left in both AFMUs. Hull integrity probably zero by now right?
The Neutron Fields have billions -literally- of Neutron Stars and Black Holes. They are very big, almost like mini galaxies. No wonder you haven't find any that is discovered. Most likely, you wont: they are just too many!
From SAG A*, it all depends where do you want to go next because most likely you will be able to include the Neutron Fields on your way.
Let's suppose you want to head back to civilization. This is what I would do:
-I would set course to the Great Annihilator, just in case you haven't visited yet.
-From there, I would go West, towards NF-BW. Just be at -1,200 to -1,100 ly from the Galactic Plane, and 1,400 ly to the West of the SOL-SAG A* Axis.
-Then, star farming Neutron Stars, from ~21,000 to ~10,000 ly coordinates. Economy planner to hit the most of them but even if you keep it at fast, you should hit some 450 Neutron Stars.
-After the farming you should be at around coordinates -1,400 : -1,200: 10,000. Set course to the Eagle Nebula to visit the
Pillars of Creation.
-Then just proceed to SOL and back to the Bubble.
For reference:
You can always farm much less or much more Neutron Stars. For ELITE status, some estimations put it at 6,000 stars! I think that's too many! After 200 you will be more likely spent!
Godspeed CMDR.
