With one swift pounce, cat shattered a third of my cockpit canopy viewing area as I was leaving Sagittarius A for the bubble last night. Thankfully Elite: Dangerous runs on windowed mode! It took me three months to indirectly reach Sagittarius A, but just one intense day to get back to the bubble right now in time for the 2.1/1.6 update. I didn't think it was possible with my 30ly range -- I had left on a whim without preparation for the trip, and I delayed coming back because I thought it wasn't possible until the last minute.


I bring with me the following original discoveries which may or may not have been lost after the update, or because of my cat:


Earth-like Worlds: 16
Ammonia Worlds: 13
Water Worlds: 98
Neutron Stars: 119
Black Holes: 12


I think I'll sort the earth-likes in the forum at a later date.
Safe flying out there, CMDRs!

(I bet the cat did in on purpose to get more attention...)

i went for break for beer yesterday night on my way back - and i'm still 2500 ly out :)

but nothing broken!

If it were up to me, dogs all the way! :D Although cats make better small-condo pets. And for that matter, what would a dog do inside of the cockpit of an Asp for months on end? [uhh]

Well, that's just a red rag to a bull that is... a catalyst for many more puns I would think... I really do have a feline about this....

My younger lapfur discovered that she can get my attention by stepping on the power button to the UPS.

This is not to say that she enjoys the attention given, but, when she is annoyed with me, she tries to step on it.

I had to place a shield over the button using plastic.
