I think these are where utilities are mounted. You should check it out if possible?

I might be wrong, but as I only fly Cobras, I couldn't say for certain.

Utilities have separate mounts. Pretty sure they are just ports for EVA. They can be found on a few ships, 2 on the Type-9, pretty sure the Asp and T-7/T-6 also have them.

Btw, the Anaconda has escape pods on either side of the ship, they are clearly visible, 4 hatches on either side slightly aft of the hardpoints.

Those are definitely EVA ports. The Anaconda's escape pods are very noticable and they're definitely not utility mounts or docking ports. Haven't noticed them before though, must check some old screenshots and see if they were always there.

Yeah they've been on the model for quite a while, guess I just never noticed the little man logo before.
