Yeah, I've done the whole accidental leaving-throttle-in-reverse thing when taking off ... luckily I reacted quickly and avoided a crash, but the folks in that landing pad control tower nearly had a surprise

Funny, but tragic at the same time
I managed to use my lateral thrusters instead of the vertical ones and got stuck under the blast shields yesterday. Must have looked like a right wally.
I have seen a Lakon 9 in Chango Dock or Aulin yesterday, stuck sideways on the pad...
I was the Hauler (or already the Cobra?) which almost missed the exit because of laughing...
Since a few of my other game buddies have started to play Elite since Beta 1, there has been a few quite funny 'oops' moments. I think this gif is one of the most relevant after hearing so many 'smashed it into the station' comments.
