New adventures & wonders lies ahead! (for me! :P)

30.205.020 of net profit from exploration data of my trip to the big black beast! Not bad at all!

I made a bit more than that from my expedition there and back again, but also went a ways above and below the plain. I definitely would have made quite a bit more if I had detail surface scanned everything, but then I probably wouldn't be back yet either. ;)

Welcome back. :)

I hope you know what you are in for! I started to do the same over a month ago. I headed for Barnards Loop and then went through it. Headed up the Perseus arm until it got a bit too thin and then picked my way, and I mean picked as it's a horrible trial with mostly "route unavailable" messages, back towards the Sagittarius arm and am currently, after six weeks and 70,000LY cruising up it just about parallel now with Sag A*. I have amended my goal. I aim for Beagle Point now, still around 45,000LY away and then will drop back home through the core.

If you make this, I salute you! It's a real epic of a journey.

well... that was my intention initially...
to cirtumnavigate the galaxy i mean.
but now with a baby girl of 5 months i don't have the time anymore to explore like i wanted to do so... for now only barnacles search
in the srv, wich is the only thing i can do now with a broken metacarp on my left hand, using only the right hand to manouver the throttle stick
of my X52 and let the srv go forward, so no more pewpewpew for some time... :(
but i left a note on my pc case, wich is stille here actually, with the last system visited in my previous journey around the mw so i know where i must go if
i want to continue someday ;)

Still alive... and... 11th Earth Like planet found!

I usually use postimage.org to upload pics of my discoveries, but right now it seems to have some problems when
uploading (it says - unable to move file, error 1). probably some error on their end....
anyway... here's the pics!

I was out in the void, directed to where originally my last attempt at circumnavigation the galaxy stopped by that damn
heating accident while fuel scooping... but since in kerrash landing's last stream i learned that probably in the coming
expansions, multicrew or even the engineers, an npc crew will be needed to fly my anaconda, i need to go back again, do
the waiting game doing some trading, and then go again out into the unknown when i'll be able to fly that again with
full crew onboard! Damn... I just hope not to do like when i first purchased a Panther Clipper in FE2 when i had to
wait months to get a full 12 woman crew (yes, i had only women onboard :p)

Welcome back to the barbar-... civilization :D

haha :D :D

now i'll make it throu the Elite Rank in Trade throu my usual trade route granting me 2.9 mil every 10 minutes.
and after that, i will be able to use my ship with all the npc crew, i'll re-begin my circumnavigation of the
galaxy, near the end of the Perseus Arm. and i'll continue that till the thargoids arrive, and i don't think they
will arrive anytime soon... I think that's more easy to see planetary langings in 2.4, that's what the secret 2.4
expansion will be in my opinion. the tech is already there in the new coaster game (don't remember the name...) for the live
representation of planet surfaces... and to be honest, i'm VERY eager to see them in action again but
i'm also very intrigued by this "Ancient" behavior (Stargate :p) of tiny bits of info every lifetime!
