CQC New Black Friday paints

If anyone has some of the ships with the Midnight Black Friday paints, and last years free Black Friday paints, I would like to see some comparisons between the two on some of the ships. Specifically if you got them, the Vulture, Asp Scout, Diamondback Explorer, Eagle, and Imperial Eagle.

They are one in the same, I got all the Black Friday paint jobs last year for free as I have the Lifetime pass and as a result I have "owned" plastered all over the "Midnight Black" in my store account. How much more black do you want them to be.

Hello CMDRs!

I can confirm that Black Friday and Midnight black are in fact identical. I bought it for my Cutter yesterday and already asked for a refund. I hope FD adds a comment in store.

Last year - the colour was Totally Black. This year the colour was Absolutely black.

If you look very very carefully at them for a long time, you will notice the difference.

Well mine were just added on top of the same Black ones with the same name. No choices between which one. Just Black.
Maybe next year it will be Black, who knows.

Mine, bought THIS year, is called Black Friday paint in the outfit. Which I don't like that much. I wish it was called Midnight Black as what I paid for. I hate the BF naming.

Agreed, its sooo... 2016.

Lifetime Pass owner, got the black for free. It is very black though - a few highlights would have been good. Must be of at least some use in a PvP situation, visibility and all that, but then ED space isn't all black.

We need a murky grey... perhaps thats what the 'Tactical' paint packs are aiming for.
