New bookmark pic of the week suggestion / question: Waypoints?

With Newletter 114 we have seen those awesome bookmark pics coming for 2.1. The newsletter says that we will be able to fully edit them and plot routes to them.

It would be also great if we could also plot routes in between subsequent bookmarks too, so we can manage Waypoints this way. Any idea if this would be possible?

I think there is an opportunity to add way (pun intended) more "quality of life" there with Waypoints, at a maybe not too onerous development time/cost.

- Tracing routes around unrefuelable clusters of brown dwarves, or selecting only refuelable stars as way points, instead of having to cancel the current plot to jump into a nearby refuelable star and then re plot for original destination again every time you dont have enough fuel for the next jump.
- Tracing routes through waypoints could allow also several round (or multiple) way trips to be programmed for traders
- Want to go to a certain destination but first you d like to drop in a certain system to cash in that long time outstanding bounty? Now you can in one plot

Etc

*Mod hat off

Yeh, I hear you. But if you think about it there are many of these basic "quality of life" features missing. And from what I understand of FDEV statements so far, this Horizons season has a large component of content precisely aimed to cover that gap. Many of those features are basic and therefore will most likely be available for all commanders, not just Horizons'. It does not need to be revolutionary. I much rather see a revolutionary "flying through clouds in a gas giant" or "breaking through the Venus sulfuric acid atmosphere to land" kind of revolutionary tbh :p .
