Hello All
I have a few questions which i cant find the answer for around here, hopefully you guys can help me, i bought the game the day it went live which was quite annoying cos i could have saved a fiver and got the extras by buy it 1 day before, im not worried about the fiver but is their any way i can get the other goodies?

on to game questions
if i click the system button on a system with 2 or more stars, it opens up onto a screen showing me all the factions in the system but if i click the same button on a system with 1 star i immediatly get taken to the star data and cant ever get to see the system data and thus can never see the factions in a system that don't have a space station in that system, any way to see the general system description of a single star system?

Uhm when a system doesn't have a space station in them, its an anarchy system as far is i know, meaning nobody controls it and thus there will not be any faction information due to the lack of factions

On the first question, you didn't miss out on much, you would have gotten a free eagle worth about 50k credits and perhaps an oppertunity at some discounts in the founders world system. Once you work your way in the big ships those discounts and that free eagle will become meaningless

Move the cursor off the star and other objects on the system map and you can see the overall system data with all faction info.

To see the general description, you need to be on the main galaxy map and click on the system in question.

In System View, it will provide you more detailed information on whatever it is you have selected within that system. So in your case, you had the star selected, you won't see any other information, other than the star.
You need to go back to the Galaxy map, and see the information there.

But speaking of systems with only a star, they are usually not aligned to any faction. Since there are no outposts or ports.

Don't forget that both mouse buttons held down will let you scroll around a system and click on different objects.

Irrespective of the number of stars, a system with no stations will have no faction. Faction is the controlling influence, and does require someone there to control it! With stations, click each one will show the faction they belong to, and their % influence within that system, along with the other trade info, economy, etc.
