New CG idea

Hi,

Started playing when ED came out on ps4, love what you've done, keep up the good work.

Apologies if this has already been suggested:

I have been really enjoying the CG'S the last month and I thought it would be really interesting if there was a station or outpost that was having technical issues or had a conflict zone appear near by and the station/outpost needed evacuating (none essential personnel). I know alot of the locations have large populations but not all would need to leave (or this could be a good thing and make it a bigger event).

This would also effect the trade with essentials like food, water and medical suppliers reqiured by the receiving and sends stations/outposts which could create another CG.

From reading the forums there are alot of players who care about the lore and ongoing stories and this would only build on that.

I know not everyone has ships that can carry people but this could a) be an incentive to get one and b) a good use for players that already have one.




Lastly and this is a bit of a seperate idea (but don't wanna create loads of posts). This ships all have one design, I am sure this makes design easier but I thought it would be cool if different designs had different layouts. For instance, I thought an Explorer would be cooler with the Hudd at the top of the screen with an open bottom so pilots could see below the ship for when the enter a planets atmosphere. There's probably lore as to why this isn't so but just thought I'd put it out there.
 
There haven't been any passenger CGs as yet. I don't think the mission only way of accepting passengers is quite compatible with the current CG model. This is a pity, as CGs could be used for evacuations, colonization, or even transporting people to a galactic rock concert.
