New Charity Missions - Requires CQC

PBSF Are looking for CQC enthusiasts for our Pixel Bandits Strike Back event!

PBSF are hosting a 24 hour live stream in aid of St. Luke's Hospice in Cheshire FROM 3pm today (gmt). This is an organisation that really makes a difference in people's lives and is local to one of our members who recently lost a loved one. You may well have seen a link today on the Official Elite Dangerous Newsletter #124

We'll be playing all sorts of games over the 24 hour period (Because playing Elite for 24 straight hours is how you burn out or go mad... I'm looking at you Space Cats ;D ) but we have two main CQC events planned for the Elite Xbox Crowd.

The Stream itself will be starting at 3pm and we're basically looking for people to come play with us, help matchmaking go faster etc. in all the games we play, but of course we're posting here for CQC folks.

We're looking to play Capture The Flag / Deathmaches and have two blocks set aside just for Elite CQC;

Block 1 - Saturday 5pm GMT (noon EST)
Block 2 - Sunday 1pm GMT (7am EST)

Block 1 is our first foray into multiplayer after warming up with some single player stuff on the stream, and Block 2 will be from 1pm-3pm on Sunday to take us through to the end of the 24 hours. It really would be excellent if we could see folks for our multiplayer games (Including Elite, Forza, Rainbow 6, Dark Souls, dying light) just to hel pmtchmaking go faster and keep the energy up... which ill be hard for Block 2 as that is the last 2 hours of the straight 24...

SATURDAY

3pm - Kicking off with some single player treats (Fallout, Superhot, Witcher etc.)

5pm - Elite Dangerous - CQC Deathmatch / Capture The Flag

7pm - Rainbow Six - Team Multiplayer

9pm - Forza 6 - Indy Car Grand Prix of Silverstone

SUNDAY

12am - Elite Dangerous - Hutton Orbital Delivery

2am - Hitman - Elusive Target Attempt

4am - Dying Light - In The Dark

6am - Dark Souls - Single Player Adventure

8am - Rainbow 6 - Lone Wolf, Realistic Terrorist Hunt

10am - Dance Central - Wake Up Time

11am - How To Survive - From The Start

1pm - Elite Dangerous - CQC Deathmatch / Capture The Flag

It's not going to be easy, and we're hoping to see folks there to play with in CQC and other games. To read more about the event or St. Luke's, check out the fundraising page over at www.justgiving.com/pbsb

I just saw this, but I will be paying attention now. My playtime decreases on weekends due to parental responsibilities, but I am interseted, especially in the Elite and Darks Souls portions.

I'm copying and pasting the below pretty much (I'm still knackered) BUT I also wanted to give a huge thank you to all who joined us, including Bongo, Skunk and others but a HUGE HUGE Thank you to Error who was with us for most of the 24 hours (in the morning telling us how comfortable his bed was!) you helped to keep us sane!

A big thank you to all of those who joined us on our 24 hour journey in aid of St Luke's Cheshire Hospice. We managed to complete 24 hours of gaming including;

1 - 4 hours of Elite Dangerous CQC
2 - A Hutton Orbital Run
3 - A Formula Ford Grand Prix Of Silverstone
4 - A lot of saving the day within Rainbow 6
5 - Elusive Target and Sapienza completion within Hitman (not very professionally though, I may add.

Whether you donated, came and watched and chatted, or even played with us it really is appreciated. We have managed to raise just over £450 for this very deserving cause and everybody who took part deserve's a big old pat on the pack, especially Karas1987 as without him it may never have taken place.

The pot is still open and will remain open for another day or so at www.justgiving.com/pbsb and if would be appreciated if folks could share theis and let people know what's gone on. They can even still join us on our journey, as all the videos are archived and viewable at www.twitch.tv/pixelbandits/profile (BE WARNED: the late night/early morning ones may contain material not suitable for young ears).
Again, just a huge thank you to all who took part. You're all wonderful, and you kept us sane!
