New Community Manager incoming!

No, but they both will be our new community managers, so FD can keep us more up to date than until recently.

Thing is with community managers is that they become a filter that ends up dropping things (by definition) between the Devs and us. It's a necessary 'evil' and in the end also a thankless job as they end up on the pointy end of user dissatisfaction. - My hat goes to anyone who can do this work.

As for keeping us more to date, I'm certain there will be more communication - but keeping with the above it also may end up with less information. ;)

Sometimes people want just not so much information, as confirmation that their complains and worries are forwarded. Last case of 1.04 rollout when Ashley went away in next day shows that we would avoid lot of noise if there was one guy saying that they still working on fixing issues :)

My guess is this is a proactive measure to keep the peace when the 6 month delay is announced in this week's newsletter...:D

+1 Maybe not this week but hey :p

I hope they also consider some kind of ED lore comms system to offer its rich background to the community and potential new players. Not an expert at all here but somehow I feel that comprehensive and quality lore broadcasting can attract as many new players as the quality of the gameplay itself.
