Hey people! I am thinking of buying a new computer in a couple of months. What do you think about this one?

Intel i7-6700K
ASUS Z170 Pro Gaming
Kingston HyperX Savage DDR4 2133 PC4-19200 16GB 2X8GB CL13
NOX Coolbay SX USB 3.0
WD Black 1TB SATA3 7200rpm
Cooler Master Hyper 412S CPU Cooler
Nox Urano VX 650W
MSI GeForce GTX 970 Gaming 4GB GDDR5
(I may wait and I get the 1070 in june).

EVGA or Corsair for the PSU imo - can't go wrong with either brands. [up]
I'm a fanboy of both of those brands [tongue] and to the op, yes I would wait for the gtx1070 (or whatver they end up calling it) so you could have the newest shiny tech!

I would also suggest EVGA for power supply out of the two. Corsair though have had a it a bit rough in last few years due to different supplier at least for the CX series so avoid them. EVGA are supplied by Seasonic/Superflower depending on range and both those independently produce their own lines so all are excellent choices.

EVGA are also great for GPU if a little expensive but have the 90 day upgrade path should a new card/series arrive that you wish to change too after purchase which would come in handy if you are wanting to get something sooner then upgrade ones the new series arrives. Only cost to me at time was postage due to shipping to Germany but now they have a UK postal center so easier and cheaper. I would also suggest that 4GB will be the minimum required soon for newer releases and so would suggest that you either wait or go the EVGA route I stated above.

I would also suggest that an SSD is almost a must with a new build, it is a lot quicker and the cost of them has dropped considerably. You will notice with game loads and boot up between the mechanical and SSD.

Brett C is right, don't cheap out on the power supply seriously!! I'm biased as I used to design switch mode power supplies for a living but with a cheap rubbish PSUs you risk blowing your hardware investment away when the cheap nasty caps in it fails or the poorly designed input filtering fails to remove voltage transients from the mains! The cheap no name PSUs also deliver nowhere near their rated power, I've seen some of them flake out at loads as low as 50% all while spewing out unacceptable levels of ripple to that lovely expensive hardware you spent your pennies on. I've read so many times how people were having stability issues with their PC which suddenly vanished when they replaced a cheapo power supply with something decent.

From my own experience I'd recommend Seasonic and Super Flower. I've opened up supplies for both and seen for myself they're using good quality capacitors + they're not skipping steps when it comes to proper input filtering. They're well known for making quality supplies and are both the OEM for some of the more respectable brands out there!

Agree. The PSU is one of the most important things to think about when building a new PC.
If for some reason the power supply fails, a cheap one won't have good protection and will often take other hardware out with it.
Im a really big Corsair fanboy and really like the Corsair link software that monitors all of ur Corsair link ready devices (Power usage, device temps, water pump speed, water temps)

Corsair used to have a little bit of a problem in the past but reviews of the new RMi models are very good. Sometime beating psus from higher price brackets for efficiency and ripple suppression ect.

Here is a review of the RMi650 from Jonny Guru. A well respected PSU reviewer.

Edit: Can i recommend something a bit higher than 650w too. 650w will be fine but wont give you much room to upgrade in the future. Can i suggest around 800w/850w

I'm getting my new custom gaming desktop PC tomorrow. I'll post my experience when I get it up and running. It has i7 6700K CPU and Sapphire AMD R9 390 8GB GPU (384GB/s bandwidth).
My HP 15-ab222tx laptop struggles to play this game. The i7 and R9 should play it as easy as pie on maximum 1080p settings. I saw some YouTube videos and the R9 has no problems playing Planet Coaster on High 1080p settings, with smooth 30+ frame rate.
