New CQC modes: NPC enemy waves and racing

I'd like to propose a new PvE CQC mode: fighting waves of NPCs. I think many players might enjoy a more cooperative CQC experience instead of shooting each other.

One setup could be that you're defending a half-built Orbis station against pirate attacks. Player fighters launch from a capital ship that's come to protect the station. Between waves of pirates, the powerups are reset. Scenario could end after, say, 5 waves.

I think non-PvP CQC would lure many players to try it out.

I'd also like to see CQC racing modes:
1) Pure racing. No weapons or powerups. Powerup circles are used as waypoints instead.
2) Racing with various powerups. Like Mariokart. One race track could look a bit like the Deathstar trench. :)
