Dinosaurs new defense for dinosaurs using scripted animations

Your Feature Request / Idea
my idea is attack and defense could trigger new animations to play, instead of the instant death that results in every hunt event. perhaps a 3rd stat speed could be added.

when the instant kill hunt animation begins, a chance based on speed/defense a "dodge the attack" animation might play instead and the dino runs away. higher attack gives chance of not a full combat, but knock the attacker away and run, leaving him damaged or potentially dead (head butt and run away from pachy types, tail whip and run away from hadrosaurs)

Or, think of the possibilites when this applied to small carnivores. Larger carnivores could try to kill them, when defense/speed succeeds, "dodge the attack" animation plays and they run off. instead if attack animation plays, again chance according to the respective stat, they latch on to the big carn for a moment and run off, slightly damaging it.

you could have things like a rex running into a pack of like 10 raptors where some run away while others play the attack animation possibly killing it eventually.
 
I think this would be an awesome thing to implement, and give many herbivores a fighting chance instead of being nothing more than insta-killable fodder. As it stands, i kind of hate that small carnivores insta-kill things as large as hadrosaurs solo, and that no large carnivores ever attack them unless theyre tranqed.

exactly my thoughts on the small carnivores. the hadrosaur thing is annoying and the small carns can only kill each other, invulnerable to any other death

Everyone wants more dinosaur behaviors, my logic is that this would fit seamlessly into all of the dinosaur interactions being these scripted animations. Just the addition of an "avoid the attack" animation for those dinosaurs instead of always instadeath would help a lot.

Things such as real pack hunting and other requested features I fear just can't or won't be worked into the game's mechanics.
