Hello folks.
There's a lot of politics which goes on within the Elite Dangerous universe. an awful lot of politics, maybe even more than in real life.
While playing on Xbox, it's often hard to get in touch on forums etc, but Facebook is relatively easy and most of us have an account, with that in mind, we have created the Elite G.U.N. (Galactic United Nations).
We are looking for player groups to join, where we can have a space for diplomacy, offers of assistance with group goals etc. discussion of community goals and all sorts of lovely diplomatic stuff.
The group is open to EVERYBODY who is a member of ANY ED Player group or faction. As an important note, this includes all "good" groups, all Pirate groups, traders, anything you can think of. Of course the group will be moderated to keep it from becoming a huge b***h fest however we are hopeful that CMDRs will mitigate that slightly by simply not posting things which are inflammatory. The group rules;
1 - No discussion of REAL world politics
2 - No flame wars. All members to remain respectful at all times
3 - No discrimination. Homophobia, racism, sexism, anti-semitism, or bigotry of any kind, is simply not tolerated
4 - No Goading. The area is designed to facilitate conversation between groups. This is NOT an area to show people how big your todger is or to put others down.
5 - We are open to other rules from members and will be looking to promote administrators for the group from the higher ranks of other player groups and factions.
We're hoping this can be a bridge between factions, and something which can help each and every member of the Elite community on Xbox One. The group can be joined at http://www.fb.com/groups/EliteGUN
