New Docking Computer......

I am come out of SC at the station in my Anaconda, almost pointed at the
mailbox and my docking computer kicks in........:eek:

Holy Crap!! It kicks in the afterburners and flies around fast!
I almost had a stroke!

But I did dock in one piece, granted my blood pressure is a up a wee bit.

If you dock manually until you get in the station and then switch on the docking computer, in previous versions it told you to align with the entrance (or something to that effect) which meant landing on the pad manually but this computer is more intelligent in that it takes you to your pad instead unless you are just inside the station with the rear still in the slot, in which case it scrapes your hull along the slot until you are back outside where in my case I was scanned (and fined, which was my reason for docking manually in the first place and managed to do successfully ) and then it docks you correctly. So make sure you are no where near the slot when you activate your docking computer otherwise it works a lot better than before.
