Anyone noticed the new Elite Dangerous logo in the alpha video? I like it, emphasises the Dangerous a lot more than the previous one. And the Elite part looks a bit more beat up and worn as if its been around the block a few times. Nice. If this is anything to go by the new game could be a bit 'darker' than the previous ones which would be good.

Yeah spotted it on the last Peek of the Week pic (the cobra). Had thought for a second then they'd just dug out an old mk3 pic and run it through a blue filter :p

I like the new 'beat-up' look :)

Wouldn't it be nice if , when reaching the 'Elite' Status, you unlock a code for the store where you could get yourself a nice weighty metal one of those...

I particularly like the new color of the metal eagle better, it has a bit of an industrial, almost mechanical feeling now.:smilie:

yes this one is very much better.

it reflects the idea of a pure dogfight combat era.

the old one was too much ''goldie and shiny'' .. it was good at the time, now the things are more cool than ever !
