New Elite:Dangerous sub-forum!

Hi all!

This is the new home for all Elite: Dangerous threads, so we can leave the Elite/Frontier sub-forum for general nostalgia based fun.

We may expand this in the new year and fragment it into several more sections, we'll see what happens with site traffic. But if you could all make your Elite: Dangerous threads here now, that would be fantastic!

Interesting. The KS doesn't look in good shape at all, yet they've opened a dedicated Elite Dangerous forum.... is there something Frontier are not telling us?

There is nothing to be read into this decision, other than that we're still confident of making our Kickstarter target and that we want to keep the forums tidy.

Having seen what we've seen in terms of early progress, time invested in concepts, planning, design and community love etc.

If anything, I'd say that even if the KS doesn't work out, we will still get Elite: Dangerous.

Maybe via a re-kick, or maybe a scaled back or longer term version. Still don't want to risk it though; we have gone from 'maybe' to 'March 2014' and I want us to be able to take that to the bank.....

You need to migrate all the ED discussions over here. Anyone coming to look at the ED forum before they pledge is going to see 12 topics and decide that there's not enough activity to bother pledging.

Yes, starting with the actual link to the Kickstarter (which should have a direct link thread, not be hidden within the announcement thread). Seriously Frontier, sort it out!
