I'd like to see cargo module upgrades. A few examples could be efficient racks which allow you to fill them with a % more cargo. How about a light cargo modules mod where using certain alloys the weight of a cargo module is reduced by a %.
Side note... If we can store a ship and a module. Why can't we store cargo in said ship or cargo module?
We should also get a engineer named Hand Bolo who can shield our cargo modules and reduce the chance of detecting illegal materials being smuggled. Same thing with passengers... like the millennium falcon had, they could also engineer let's say passenger modules to shield them as well to help hide at risk passengers. They can climb into the floor in a shielded compartment that counters scanning by a %.
For defensive ships... Cargo, Passengers, Explorers. Can we do something with hard points that are otherwise not used. Could we place additional shield boosters hardpoint options for example to give them more defensive capabilities?
