During development of StatusDisplay I have started implementation of user-defined POI and routes, be they space or surface based.

My request is for a new journal event, e.g. "NavigationRoute" that would be published when a route is plotted to a system, body, station, POI, etc. in a json file containing information on all steps on the route that can be read by an application and allow it, in conjunction with existing journal events, to track the progress of the CMDR along the route.
