So I took a mission 1000Ly from my home system, never ventured further than 300Ly and I have to say, I'm loving this! I am currently scanning quite a large system with no player names in the system map, so here's hoping I get my name immortalised in the map [big grin] Many metal rich worlds, and hopefully some pristine rings... Feels weird knowing I'm most probably the first person to see this...

My first discoveries were accidental when i went to Quince.
Last week i did my first long range trip, taking a passenger 6.5k ly out, past the cat's paw nebula. Discovered over 350 systems and about 500 bodies (including stars) along the way, very satisfying when you sell the data and then see your name in the cool places you bookmarked.
