New FC modules: refinery, industrial workshop, salvage depot, hydroponics and science lab

Hi FDev,

Please consider giving us the tools to build up colonies on our own. Add a few new fleet carrier modules that could allow us to build things in a system without having to return to the bubble:
  • Refinery: Takes in low level mined goods (haematite, bauxite etc.), and outputs refined metals and perhaps chemicals like liquid oxygen and things like CMM and ceramic composites. Should work like the tritium donation where you "top up" a hopper with mined goods to keep the refinery going. Output goes to FC cargo hold.
  • Industrial Workshop: Takes refined metals (perhaps directly from an installed Refinery), and perhaps rarer mined goods (things like Painite, Platinum, Gold etc.) to build machinery usually found in Industrial settlements and star ports.
  • Hydroponics: takes in water, and perhaps bio waste from colonies to produce foodstuffs. Maybe has a direct link with exo bio, where you can "supercharge" it by donating exo bio data. Bonus points if this is an actual room in the FC we can visit for cosy vibes.
  • Science Lab: Takes in refined metals, and very rare mined goods (core metals like Monazite, Rhodplumsite) to produce high tech stuff, like emergency power cells, resonating separators, bioreducing lichen. Perhaps can be "aided" by turning in exploration data.
  • Salvage Depot: Accepts salvage commodities (and/or Scrap) from signal sources, and outputs random commodities useful for colonisation. Never quite know what you get, but it will be helpful!
A fleet carrier owner, that is say a miner, could then install a Refinery and sell the refined steel, aluminium, copper and titanium back to other players.

You could also go full on self-sufficient and install all of them - costing you most of your 25k tons of FC cargo capacity - and use it to build new colonies from the ground up without having to truck back to the core systems.

You might ask yourself: why bother with this when I can just FC travel to a trailblazer mega ship and just load up with all that stuff via hauling?

Variety. I know of a lot of miners who'd rather go mine for their steel, but don't find the refinery contact all that appealing. The Refinery contact is a good step in the right direction. But it fades in usefulness, since you have to go the core systems for all the industrial, high-tech and agri stuff anyway, and while you are there it seems easier and more convenient to just load up on steel as well. But if instead mining, exploration, exo bio and salvage could be viable game play loops to get all required commodities for construction, a refinery becomes more appealing.
 
Sounds interesting, a fun game mechanic, I haven't put alot of thought into it, anything that makes or adds to fun without creating a balance issue sounds good to me. I'd like to see FC's and their interiors expanded on.
