New FC services visable in system map - Construction depot and system colonization!

Ive seen this on friday when I started building. Im hoping it gets added after CG ends...
I like trucking,but after completing an outpost,settlement,hub,mining outpost I want to see what happens on reset. Im kind of bored of doing these trucking runs already. There has to be some big payoff to do this longer.
 
I’m not sure if they actually intend to enable those for fleet carriers. Colonization ships seem very specialized for that service, it wouldn’t make sense to be able to transform a fleet carrier into one just by enabling the service.

They are listed there as suspended probably only because as someone mentioned, colony ships are just rejigged fleet carriers for ease of game implementation.

System colonization contact makes sense, just like Vista or UC or Redemption services.

I suspect that this is the case, and the fact that it's showing is just an oversight.
I say this because I remember that when FDev showed the preview of FC interiors during a livestream, the lifts had the options to go to the hangars, the bow and the stern, so I was hoping that there were more accessible areas but in the end it was just a matter of not hiding which option was unavailable, based on the layout of the FC.

This having been said, if additional functions are added to a FC, I'll have no objections!
 
If they enable us to use FCs as a start point of colonization, then both would make sens - System Colonization to select system and Construction Depot as a way to provide materials for construction. I still have a childish hope that this will allow automated movement of materials station to FC and FC to Construction site within a system.

Just thinking about this, and maybe not so strange. What if there was an upgrade you could buy for your FC, that turned it into a construction ship... for a few billion?
