New feeding issue with keepers going through endless loop in keeper hut

What happens: Animals are starving. When I trace down their keeper, he (has always been a male keeper so far) is in the keeper hut going through the motions of opening the fridge and chopping food without actually opening the fridge door and the food is invisible. He keeps doing that in a never-ending loop. Firing and replacing him seems to work. Since it takes a while that animals start starving after being placed, it seems that the keepers have been bugged right from the moment I hired them.

I had this happen three times by now, twice in the same Career mode zoo. The first time might also have been a Career mode zoo since I am currently trying to do them all at the hard level, but I am not sure. Since I fired and replaced them, I don’t think there are any useful save games available, but I will keep an eye on my keepers from now on until I get another loopy keeper so I can officially file the bug.

I've found the best way to deal with that is to fire the keeper, then delete the keeper hut and place a new one. For me, if I just fire the keeper then he'll just stand there eternally.

I didn’t check to see whether the original keeper actually left the zoo - just frantically trying to save more than 20 animals by getting them into quarantine. I haven’t yet had the heart to go back in my last Career zoo (Yamaguchi). Everything was going so well until then... I’ll have to wait for the next occurence to examine the situation a bit closer and also to get a useful save game.

No, not yet since I don’t have a save file for them to work with. They do read this forum, though, so this is my inofficial report. :)
