Hardware & Technical New Firefox version...

Beat me to it Cody! :)

Can't say I'm loving the new Australis theme at all.

Classic Theme Restorer helps a lot.

Hide Caption Titlebar Plus gets you a lot of wasted space back too - handy on a laptop.

In both cases, go to the bottom of the page and click 'Development Channel' to get the very latest builds.

Here's what my desktop looks like with both...

<docks at Iserxeer> Yeah, mine will look something similar, I reckon (after I've updated it tomorrow, that is).
Gotta love that community - a handy addon all ready for the new release version.

Updated, didn't notice any drastic changes, maybe because on the other PC I run Nightly, IIRC on 30.x.x.xx already, and it has looked like FF 29 for a few months already.

Some rounding of Firefox's own boundaries around tool/title etc. bars?

Would've tried the Hide Caption Titlebar Plus, but the link gave 502 bad gateway error...

Haven't opened it for a while.

Will do so now...

Still on 26!

Now 27. Does it really have to incrementally update like this with a restart every damn time?

...

Nope it jumped to 29. Thought I was gonna have to go through 28 as well there!

Checks it out...

Hmm

It's very chrome. Curved tabs and the menu moved to a hamburger on the right.

The tabs feel larger, tis good, felt a bit too short before.

Overall I think I like it.

Don't matter, only open it for testing :)

I've decided I like it (as is, without any reversion Add-ons), but those curvy tabs ain't too good - hey-ho!

Every time a new version comes out I spend ages trying to make it look and work like my established setup! What I've set up is/was perfect for me and my browsing and I only update to maintain security and compatibility as the web evolves.

I'm still grieving over the fact that v25 perma-broke the Google toolbar ability to click on words you'd searched to then find them within the page. And yes, I realise Google toolbar was deprecated aeons ago but I haven't found anything else that did all I wanted. I would use Googlebar Lite but it doesn't have as-you-type suggestions.

Change sucks. :(
