Engineers New Flight Controler, love that Northern Accent - well done FDev

Being that I come from the North of England and have now lived in Australia for 12 years, when I first heard her Northern English accent, I was instantly teleport ed "back home."

Ha ha ha, well done FDev

Its the subtle things in ED that make the game oh so bloody marvelous.

Personally I love the imperial female controllers.
Every time they greet me, I wish there was an "Ask controller out" option, next to "request docking" :)

Anything would be preferable to the oleaginous, sycophantic, smarmy bloke who was TC at the Waldo Coffee and Fish CG station. [sour] (There isn't a vomit emoticon is there?)

I heard it last night and thought it was bit too Coronation Street for a futuristic space game.

I also got me wondering, how would regional accents survive so long away from said region throughout many, many generations?

Yea, "requesting docking" straight off the bat is a bit straight forward. You should at least be afforded the opportunity to take her out to dinner first.

Aye I noticed this last night on Twitch.
I keep expecting her to say 'Yer alright luv. Welcome t'station. Kettle's on'
Now can we have a Cumbrian accent in a future update?
'How do marra! Ooz tha garn! Divn't crash inter nee body n park up on bay thutty yan'
