New flight stick/throttle for around 200.00$. Suggestions?

Putting in my vote here for a CH-Products setup. CH fighterstick + CH Pro Throttle. The pro throttle has an analog thumbstick which is fantastic for lateral/vertical thrusting. That said, their sticks don't have twist axis (which I prefer, but I have rudder pedals for yaw).

They also have a really lovely light and linear spring tension that makes precise inputs near center-stick really easy and consistent. They've been around forever and their engineering is proven. They will last for many, many years.

While the x52 pro is a decent stick, wha
they aren't telling you is its a good stick if you don't hit the quality control issues. Some have had more than a few units sent and rma'd consecutively. And the one they settled on still had malfunctioning switches, or ghost button press. Now i know not all are like this, but it does happen enough that you
should be aware. There's a reason that setup is rated 3 stars on virtually all online retailers.

If you can manage a little more, the CH Fighterstick and CH Throttle Pro are your best bet in that range. They are built to survive armageddon, and still retain precision after years of use. Plenty of switches, high quality sensors,
rugged construction. They aren't flashy by any stretch of the imagination, but they are extremely solid. I fly Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS, and I keep the ol standby under my desk. Just my experience and 2 cents. Good decision on the hotas, it will amplify the game to new heights. Enjoy your purchase.

Little more? :) Ch setup costs at least 2 times more and the warthog 3 times more than a saitek in my country. The only available hotas are x52 and x55 for that budget and btw the "ghosting" is not a faulty products but a low powered usb on mother boards I had it with my x55 and it was fixed by changing port. Warthong is an overkill for playing elite i think beside its throttle is not so good but ofc its just my personal opinion.

What country? Do we not connect the same internet? I got my CH stick and throttle for a few bucks over 230. And i didn't suggest the warthog. Was using it as a reference to the fact that even though I have the warthog, the CH gear still stays nearby because it is that reliable. And my x52 pro was ghosting and it wasn't a power issue. It was a quality control issue.

And those 2 sticks aren't the only options. Thrustmaster has a few other offerings that offer solid features coming in well below the 200 tag. The t.1600 and hotas x, depending on how sophisticated they want. There's also the CH Combatstick, coming in a little cheaper but offering less switches.

Newegg was offering some pretty sweet combo promotions all month OP, might want to check them out. They had the warthog setup with saitek combat rudders for 399. I know that's beyond the budget, but that's how good the deals were. Also check the pilotmall. Saw they were running a solid CH and saitek combo package for a significant discount. Good luck man. Shop around and there's a lot of love to be had.

I would go with the CH fighterstick and the pro throttle. That is, I did go with the CH setup. I also paid under $200 US Dollars for it. I won't say it is unmatched, but I would find it hard to believe there is something better for elite.

We are talking about solid 200 bucks here and all you guys come up with is Saitek toys Oo.
Ch products is pretty much the only choice here and actually worth the money. If you like design over function then be my guest and get yourself a x52 pro....
