If something only "partially" exists, I suppose it can be "mostly" absent.

Actually in this update they are not doing more than they should have done. They are correcting a mistake that they created themselves, beigefication (Alias takes a lot to correct this) and are including contents that should already exist in the game since the launch (trade tools). Not to mention the waste of time with the engineers and system of crimes and punishment.
I can't believe this got to page 2.. What is next: FD, the server is taking more than 68ms to answer? you guys.. are so screwed, that you can't find a game you want to play and instead of having fun have to come to one forum on internet to cry 
I blame Valve, steam should be full of free games to play to avoid the over-free-to-whine in the forums.

I can't believe this got to page 2.. What is next: FD, the server is taking more than 68ms to answer? you guys.. are so screwed, that you can't find a game you want to play and instead of having fun have to come to one forum on internet to cry

We posted bug report 2 days ago so not 68 ms for an answer but 2 days. Article was from TODAY. Some ppl in FDevs should read bug reports more often and pass it further to CA not make such mistakes like promoting bugged missions in GalNet. As we can see from recent nerfs they do act quick sometimes (if its about players making too much money lol)
The mission needs more people to do it so that it can rank up from Mostly Working.
Because although there's about a thousand forum warriors looking for a negative scoop on ED there's maybe 5 people working at FD on the weekend?

Personally I'm not affected as I'm on a fresh iron man build and don't even see Ram Tah on my Engineers list.
This doesn't have anything to do with having Ram unlocked as an engineer, he will give the missions to anyone who docks in Meene.

Gratis doesn't mean a whole lot, when it amounts to a worsening of your experience with a paid-for product.
Lets say Ford offers you a free engine swap, but the new engine they put in has 2 cylinders less, or consumes much more gas... Is that OK, just because it was "free"...?
OK, more closely related and actual example: Maybe Google gives you a new OS update for free, but the new OS starts routing all links through GooglePlay:
- when it does work, it amounts to routing more of your personal data to Google.
- when it doesn't work, you can't open your links and certain apps simply fail to work...
It was free, so its ok, that it screws up the way you could previously utilize your phone?
Note: I'm not commenting on the merits of the complaint, I'm just pointing out that "free" is a meaningless argument,
when it comes to updates to products that are not free.
Even if something is completely free from the start, doesn't mean that that makes it "good" if its not. Better to discard it than have it clog up your garage or hard drive.

If you believe this game is free, I take it you must have forgotten that your mummy paid for it?
You also don't remember the promised Offline Single Player Game, that Michael said they'd make sure it would be playable after FD shuts down the servers for the online version?
I guess its the aluminum micro-particulate in the air, that catapulted Alzheimers to the #1 cause of death among the elderly in the UK.. Nobody can remember anything anymore. Hard to believe, but just 20 years ago, most people had never heard of "Alzheimer's" - it was one of those rare conditions with usually much longer names few people knew anything about...

Since Beyond is actually a fix for 1.0, 1.2 and 2.1, it is expected to be free. Or would you pay a second time for Engineers*?
*It obviously had enough attention by the community, therefore FDevs bothers to get it right. I guess Multicrew won't be so lucky.
