New game features.

Frameshift Gateway Network:
While jumping from star to star is rather entertaining it can also boring and often lead to "jump dementia", where you forget there is a Star in your path and you fall out of super cruise wondering how did that happen.Anyway the Frameshift Gateway Network is a new way to travel inside the bubble that speeds up travel time at the expense local system discovery data.The more developed systems in the bubble upgrade from "Nav beacons" to "Nav-Relay stations" that mimic the Neutron star highway but on a much smaller scale.You plot your course on the galactic map and check the new selection of FSGN below FSD BOOST in the Jump Data section.Now when you plot your course it selects the FGN's along that path according to your FSD range and fuel.When you jump there could be a tunneling like graphic similar to something like in the movie Star-Gate and in the same sequence time of a normal jump you travel the entire distance.As was stated earlier while fast it also means you cannot collect any system information along the way and the added stress means there is some maintenance that will be needed to ship integrity.

Ship Creator:
Using a similar tool like the ship creator in Galactic Civilizations III,players can pay a small fee to design their own ships,size,and hard point placements.Once they submit and pay for their design the ship will be created in a few days and added as a DLC for the player.

Pirates & Pirate bases:
To add a certain level of danger and profitability pirates and the bases they operate from can create a new dynamic to the elite dangerous universe.Pirates live mostly outside the bubble to make exploration no longer the boring its lonely out here experience.Pirates use mostly small fighters but can use larger ships mostly as carriers but can have ships from sidewinders to a cobra MkIII.For those living the life of high risk these bases can be used as safe ports for wanted players,targets for players missions,or subject to player raids for high profit bounty payouts.

Personal player base/outpost:
For elite dangerous your ship is your home but wouldn't it be nice to really have a home.Making money is the driving force in the game but there comes a time when you have tons of cash and nothing to spend it on.A player base makes a nice money pit for players with too much money and nothing to do.Your planetary base or orbital outpost can house up to 20 ships of all sizes,cargo bays to store any and all cargo and materials,and serve as a refuel and repair for the player and any in his wing.

I shan't comment on PvP combat balancing and why on earth pirates would live mostly outside the bubble where coming across a rich merchant ship loaded with goods to pirate is as likely as finding a floating teapot in orbit between mars and Jupiter, oh dear I just did, but mostly on this;

Making money is the driving force in the game

Starting from such a manifestly false assumption is always going to result in incorrect conclusions, I suggest mixing with the player groups who aren't just interested in money to get an idea of exactly how diverse the player groups are.
