New gameplay suggestion during long SRV sojourns

Often while driving a long time collecting materials, cargo, etc. we see npc ships fly by doing their thing, but they never come to investigate the SRV or cause any bother. This should be changed to make things a little more sketchy and interesting out on surfaces. How about when an NPC (or other player) ship drops into the area, COVAS alerts the SRV driver, "Ship signature detected" the SRV driver should then immediately cut their lights and other non-essential modules to lower their signature until they have passed. Otherwise the ships can scan the SRVs see if they are carrying anything juicy and potentially engage.
The SRV should be given an opportunity to evade and escape even if they are engaged if they are smart, e.g. the aforementioned turning off as much as possible to lower heat signature, and ride like hell for deep craters, large boulders or canyons etc. Raises the risk and excitement a bit on the surfaces of populated space

Yes these should definitely not be a thing away from populated bubbles, and totally agree that it is immersion breaking having pirates spawn in rings far out of the bubbles.
