They haven't "found" anything yet.

They've seen some strong indications for something being there, but nothing is confirmed yet.

So FD can stand down...they have plenty of time before this has been validated (if it will be).

There's no hurry to get a patch out in other words. :p

Aside from that, I agree we do need a patch for SOL but not for the so-called 9th planet.

Makemake is a dwarf planet in the Kuiper Belt, not the asteroid belt. But, yes it should be added to the game. So should a few others, like Eris and Quaoar.
FD have stated that they want to add comets to the game. My guess is that when this happens, they will add any known dwarf planets as well.
