I just changed out my GPU (7900XT to 9070 XT) and am experiencing a bit of a strange situation in Elite Dangerous.
To see how much grunt the new GPU has I deleted the game graphics settings files and checked / modified game settings to disable vsync and ensure that no frame rate limitts were in place. Doing so lets the FPS significantly exceed 60 when I start the game, select a mode, "wake up" in the game sitting in my ship on my Carrier - until I launch from my Carrier - at which point the FPS drops to a steady 60 and won't budge. Has anyone else experienced this?
I've been through the AMD settings app app to ensure that no frame rate capping is in place, have performed factory reset a couple of times and used the AMD Cleanup Utility - to no avail.
The issue seems to be limited to Elite Dangerous.
