Horizons New Horizon CMDR - Initial mission lead's to Dahan then what ...

So I started I my shinny blue sidey ... going to Dahan as requested to get my initial 10k :) youhou ... but then

I would expect to see some missions proposed as the initial mission was implying ... but nada , zero , null , not a single mission proposed (not even one where the requirements are not met yet ..)
aven after changing of station.
So is this intended ? not really helpful for new players [down]

Have you gone to the right station for the mission?

Has the mission in the left tab updated?

Yes I was at the right station as I was able to cash in my first 10k reward
I can see the mission tabs and the npc's but they all show 0/0 missions ... going to open mode do show missions though ... (most with requirements not met)
I'm not a new player just wanting to point to FD that this is prolly a little bug ... if I was a new player this would frustrate my a lot I guess and we all know that ED at start is already quit challenging and frustrating
