Make sure to make manual backup of your Planet Coaster files, such as your saved parks, blueprints, TMT items and custom media (music, billboard images and videos).
In the event that files get deleted due to this issue, you can restore them with this backup.

PS. I haven't updated the list with the location of TMT items but as long as you're subscribed to TMT items from others you should be able to get them back as long as they are still available on the workshop.
Location of local Planet Coaster game files

- Replace "12345678901234567" by the unique number of your Steam ID.
- Replace "Saved Games" by the folder name used in your version of Windows if you are not using an English version of Windows (for example, Dutch translation for Saved Games = Opgeslagen spellen).
- Replace "Documents" by the folder name used in your version of Windows if you are not using an English version of Windows (for example, Dutch translation for Documents = Documenten).
- You can paste the address without quotes in the address bar to open the folder.
- Information about how to use billboards can be found here.
- The location of downloaded items from the workshop may vary depending on the location of the Steam installation.
